PTE (Pearson Test of English)

PTE stands for Pearson Test of English .PTE  is a computer-based academic English language test aimed at non-native English speakers who desire to study abroad. The tests includes Reading, Writing, Listening and Speaking. PTE Academic is endorsed by the Graduate Management Admission Council. Amongst other universities, London Business School in the UK, Harvard Business School, Stanford Graduate School of Business, and Yale University in the United States accept PTE Academic scores. Other institutions in other countries, including Spain, France and China, have also signed up to accept PTE Academic.

The test is acknowledged by the UK Border Agency (UKBA) and Australian DIAC for student visas.
The whole test is done in a single session in the time frame of 3 hours and is taken on a computer in a secured test environment
